The improper installation of the fan drive pump will effect the performance and servise life.

There is some problem will be caused.

For the gear that is mounted on the end of the input shaft.

This is the dear pump which drives the hydraulic oil coller or radiator cooling fan.

If the gear assembled incorrectly, it will fail.

If this gear assembled wrong, the oil will find a way to leak from the the thrust, on the end of the pump shaft, and thus accelerated wear of the components.

So when you assemble the fan drive pump, please follow the proper way to increase the performance and longthen servise life.

When there is exhibits symptoms of pump failure for your machine, please remove the pump from the engine, exain it carefully for the unusual wear and re-assembled in a correct way.

If the cooling system fan exhibits symptoms of pump failure, the pump should be removed from the engine, examined for unusual wear and re-assembled in a correct manner.
